CAPITAL HUMANE SOCIETY RETAINS AYRES KAHLER AS AGENCY OF RECORD FOR MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

Capital Humane Society of Lincoln has retained Ayres Kahler as its agency of record for public relations counsel and marketing communications.

Ayres Kahler will be working closely with Capital Humane Society to develop messages and assist the 106-year-old not-for-profit organization with its goals and renewed focus of animal adoption and programs that impact issues related to pet overpopulation in Lincoln.

Among the goals of the Capital Humane Society:  more outreach and offsite adoption programs, including a mobile adoption or satellite facility.  The Capital Humane Society also plans to implement a senior adoption program that emphasizes matching pets that are six years of age or older with senior citizens, and waiving adoption fees by people age 65 and older.

Cullen West, public relations manager for Ayres Kahler, said the agency is honored to be working with Capital Humane Society. “The Capital Humane Society should be lauded for its unwavering service to this city,” he said. “The fundamental values and core beliefs that formed this great organization a century ago are still evident today.”

Former mayor and current U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns once said of the Capital Humane Society: “It’s hard to imagine what life in Lincoln would be like without the Capital Humane Society. They’re very-well managed and do a wonderful job.”
