AYRES KAHLER ANNOUNCES YOUNG COMMUNITY OUTREACH GRANTS
Lincoln, Neb.— Ayres Kahler has announced the selection of grant recipients in its annual Richard and Ruthann Young Community Outreach Initiative.
Recipients of this year’s grants are Rebuilding Together Lincoln, a non-profit organization that repairs the homes of low-income homeowners; and CenterPointe, Inc., which specializes in helping people with substance use and mental health disorders.
The agency-sponsored Community Outreach Initiative, now in its fifth year, provides for grants worth up to $10,000 in agency-related services to non-profit organizations that serve the Lincoln community. The grants are for in-kind services from the agency.
Through the initiative, the agency provides a wide array of professional services ranging from marketing consultation and plan development to public relations, creative, media planning and interactive activities. In the past, Ayres Kahler has worked with a number of organizations including the Lincoln Action Program, Friendship Home, Voices for Hope, Charlie Brown’s Kids, Matt Talbot Kitchen and Lancaster Habitat for Humanity.
The initiative was established as a means to honor former agency chairman Richard “Dick” Young, who retired in 2004. Young and his wife Ruthann were active supporters of several Lincoln civic-related organizations.
Ayres Kahler is a full service marketing/communications agency with offices in Omaha and Lincoln. Bringing together specialists in brand management, marketing, advertising, public relations and interactive development, the agency develops and guides existing and emerging brands through today’s new economy.
