AYRES KAHLER WINS TOP AWARDS FOR NEBRASKA LOTTERY
TV COMMERCIAL
A Nebraska Lottery television commercial featuring the Teutuls of Orange County Chopper fame has received top awards from both the Advertising Federation and the American Marketing Association (AMA). The commercials were written and produced by Ayres Kahler Brand Navigation.
The commercial, entitled “OCC TV: Upside Down Map”, received a Gold ADDY from the Nebraska Advertising Federation. It went on to receive a Silver ADDY at the Advertising Federation’s District Nine Awards Show, which qualified it for entry into the national ADDY Awards competition. The ADDY Awards, which recognize creative excellence in all forms of advertising, is the world’s largest advertising competition with over 50,000 entries annually.
The OCC TV commercial also received a Prism Award from the AMA-Lincoln chapter. A second Prism Award went to Ayres Kahler and the Nebraska Lottery for “Bingo Every Nite!” point-of-sale packaging.
Ayres Kahler president Mick Sibbel said the Prism Awards are especially gratifying. "Of the many advertising and marketing awards programs, Prism is one of the few based on strategy and results,” Sibbel said. “While a memorable commercial may generate talk value, it may not successfully motivate the target audience to take specified action. Ultimately it's results that define true effectiveness."
Ayres Kahler also received three Silver ADDY’s from the Nebraska Advertising Federation and three Merits from AMA-Lincoln for its work on behalf of the Nebraska Lottery.
Ayres Kahler is a full service marketing/communications agency with offices in Omaha and Lincoln.
